Jackie Wegner

  • Assistant Professor of Accounting

Jackie received a Ph.D in accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder. She also holds a master's degree in accounting and a bachelor's degree in finance, both from Tulane University. Her research focuses on the production and use of information in the capital markets, with an emphasis on the implications of emerging technologies and financial regulators. At Marshall, Jackie teaches the introduction to financial accounting, BUAD 280. Prior to starting her academic career, Jackie worked as an auditor at Ernst and Young LLP in Tampa, Florida, primarily serving financial service organizations. She remains an active CPA in the state of Florida.
