  • PhD Student in Marketing

I’m Ignacio Riveros, a third-year Ph.D. student in Quantitative Marketing at the USC Marshall School of Business. In my research, I try to measure and quantify the effects of different socio-political events on industries and markets. Specifically, I have explored how brands’ sociopolitical stands impact customer store visits. Before joining USC, I worked as a data scientist at ConsiliumBots, a non-profit Ed-tech startup.

I hold a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Economic Analysis from the University of Chile. My pre-doctoral research projects were related to public economics and political economy.
