What surprised you most about Marshall?
The strength of the Trojan network! Alumni are always willing to help and set time aside to talk to current students and talk about their experiences. Other schools talk about their alumni networks but at USC we truly see Trojans looking after each other.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
Before business school I expected to be challenged by my peers and the academics, however I have learned much more than I expected. My peers are truly amazing and smart and I consider myself lucky to have met my classmates.
What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
AVP - HTA of Professional Development, Marshall Leadership Fellow
What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
Going to a local wine vineyard with my core team. My core team has been a large part of why I have enjoyed my Marshall experience and I consider myself lucky to be working with such amazing individuals.
What is your favorite USC Marshall core class?
Which clubs are you involved in?
Marshall Leadership Fellows Program (MLFP), High Tech Association (HTA), Marshall Consulting and Strategy Club (MCSC), Marshall Data Analytics Club (MDAC), The Consortium, Marshall Mindfulness, Marshall Soccer Club, Latino Management Business Association
Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because of the location, the opportunities, and the strength of the Trojan network. Los Angeles is an international hub and most major companies have a presence in LA. Therefore, I would have the opportunity to network locally and meet with company representatives in person much easier. Programs like PRIME and MLFP are unique to USC and I wouldn't be able to find them anywhere else. Lastly, the alumni are always willing to help and set time aside to talk about their experiences. Marshall has alumni in all major companies and finding a connection who is willing to have a conversation with current students is relatively effortless.
