Gal Blatman is a postdoctoral researcher at the Business of Energy Transition Initiative. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh, an MSc in Strategic Management from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Social Science and Media Studies from The College of Management Academic Studies.
His research focuses on the dynamics of alliances and networks in the energy sector, particularly within the integrated oil and gas industries. He explores the interplay between technology, strategy, and sustainability, employing theories such as institutional theory and network analysis. His current work aims to develop a socio-cognitive theory of complex capabilities, examining how macro, inter-organizational processes impact industry performance and competitive advantage.
