Areas of Interest at USC and Marshall:
Marketing, Audio Engineering, Music Production, Greek Life, Brothers Breaking Bread, Global Leadership Program

What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
USC Marshall is the best blend of international experience, academic challenges, and professional development opportunities! I wanted to travel in college, and I got to experience that right from the beginning of my Freshman year. I've taken on several academic challenges that have allowed me to pursue my interests and develop research capabilities. And lastly, building a great network of friends and professional contacts has been one of the best parts of my USC Marshall experience, and it's something I cherish most as I approach graduation.

Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
Trust the fit! At the end of your tenure, you want to look back with a feeling of pride and accomplishment, and know that you've made the best decision for yourself--so if you feel the fit's right at a school, trust it!

USC activities/general hobbies:
Golfing, Music Production/Audio engineering, MSA, Thematic Option, exploring LA food spots

Why do you love Los Angeles?
Having grown up really close to LA, I've come to enjoy it even more during my time at USC. I love the food--there's not a time I've gone out and been disappointed in the food. The people are great as well, whether you're walking around, or talking with people, there seems to be a great energy around everyone in the city. Lastly, I love the proximity to the music and sports industries, which are two fields of interest for future stages of my professional career. Lots of opportunities to build a network and success in LA.

What Global Experiences have you had in college?
I travelled to Beijing and Shanghai as part of the Global Leadership Program--10 day experience of global culture and business during spring break of Freshman year. Following the internship, I participated in the GLP internship program, which allowed me to work in Taiwan and immerse myself in the culture for 10 weeks.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
Freshman summer: participated in the Global Leadership Program internship; a 10 week immersive internship in Taiwan-- Sophomore summer: Digital marketing internship at CBS; found out about the internship through USC Marshall career services/recruiting events--Junior Summer: Associate Product Marketing Manager Intern at Google--found out through Trojan Talks and coffee chats at Marshall, and will return upon graduation this May.
