What are your areas of interest at USC and Marshall?
I am interesting in studying marketing as well as social entrepreneurship and find the process of starting a company fascinating. I am also planning on attending law school in the future and combine these interests.
What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
Marshall provides the flexibility to specialize through electives and upper-division classes as well as the opportunity for interdisciplinary study in other departments at USC. I also appreciate the emphasis on hands-on learning, such as with the Experiential Learning Center which prepares students for real world experiences.
What advice do you wish you had known while applying to college?
The key is to be genuine! Show the admissions office what inspires, motivates, and excites you in your academic and personal life. Don't be afraid to be yourself or hold back, as opposed to just saying what you think the admissions office wants to hear.
What are your USC activities/general hobbies?
On-campus, I am involved with student organizations including Society of Women in Law, Daily Trojan, and the Armenian Student Association. I also love reading and watching movies in my spare time.
Why do you love Los Angeles?
I love LA because, even though I have spent my entire life here, I still find new places to see and things to do. LA is full of culture and different opportunities, and I am excited to keep exploring as a college student.
What global experiences have you taken part in at USC? Please list all Marshall International Trips you have attended, include program name(s) and location(s).
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
This past summer, I interned with Bet Tzedek Legal Services in their development office. My Marshall coursework, such as statistics, helped prepare me for this internship.
What is your favorite USC Marshall Class?
My favorite class at Marshall is ECON351x Intro to Microeconomics for Business.
