Christopher Stewart’s research and professional interests include strategic management, organizational culture, staffing trends, and organizational development. His book, The Academic Library Building in the Digital Age: A Study of Construction, Planning, and Design of New Library Space was published by the Association of College and Research Libraries. His work has appeared in journals including the Journal of Academic Librarianship and Library Leadership & Management. As a management consultant, he has worked with library leaders on projects ranging from benchmarking and assessment to facilities planning and design. Prior to joining the MMLIS program at USC, he was an associate professor in the School of Information Studies at Dominican University. Before he began his teaching career, his leadership experience included serving several years in an academic library deanship.
