What surprised you most about Marshall?
I was surprised by how caring and helpful alumni are towards current students. The alumni I connected with as a prospective student followed up with me during the application process and were excited to welcome me to the Marshall family. The second year students are generous with their time and provide so much wealth of knowledge on how to navigate the recruiting process.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
The first semester goes by so quickly! A "must do" list of activities, clubs, competitions will help you stay focused on the opportunities that are most exciting to you. I would like to add a quick plug for the Consortium, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, MBA Prep, and the Toigo Foundation. If you are a diverse candidate, please check those organizations out before you apply to business school.

Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because it offered all the opportunities I was looking for in a business program. Marshall has a strong student/alumni community that is very welcoming, diverse course offerings that are challenging and exciting, and PRIME to add an international business focus. It was also my life long dream to live in Los Angeles, so Marshall was the perfect place!
