Carmen Payne Mann

  • PhD Student in Accounting

Carmen is interested in research regarding capital markets, disclosure, and corporate governance. Currently, her research focuses on blockholder SEC filings, firm liquidation values, and analyzing methodological tools used by accounting academics. Prior to joining USC, Carmen earned her B.S. in Accounting from BYU (summa cum laude), where she also completed the school's Accounting Ph.D. Prep Program. She then went on to earn her M.A. from Florida State University. Outside of research, Carmen enjoys reading, hiking, rock climbing, playing volleyball, and anything else she can do outdoors.
