What surprised you most about Marshall?
The great diversity of cultures & talents in our class surprised me the most. You can always learn from your peers for knowledge and best practices that you are interested but lack of knowledge for.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I would have taken time out before school to backpack travel internationally.
What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
Marshall Leadership Fellow, AVP of Career Development - Marshall Data Analytics Club, Marshall MBA Ambassador
What is your favorite USC Marshall experience:
My favorite experience at Marshall so far was competing in the Stock Pitch Competition. Within a short space of time, my team of 2 researched the target World Wrestling Entertainment, analyzed industry landscape, modeled financials, and eventually pitched our SELL recommendation to a panel of judges.
What is your favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy with Professor Peer Fiss!
Which clubs are you involved in?
Marshall Finance Association, Marshall Data Analytics Club, Entrepreneurship & Venture Management Association, Marshall Outdoor Club, Marshall Wine Club, Mindful Marshall
Core:
A
Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because of the Trojan Family community which mentality is real and palpable. I spoke to 10+ MBAs when I was going through the application process and all of them turned around my questions quickly and were extremely kind, generous, encouraging and helpful. While I am currently recruiting for investment banking, every second-year MBA student and USC alum I have been speaking with are approachable, patient and supportive.
