What surprised you most about Marshall?
I was surprised and deeply humbled by the breadth and diversity of my class's backgrounds and experiences. Very early on during orientation, I kept thinking to myself how lucky I was to be part of such an accomplished and impressive group.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I had known to develop great morning habits and train myself to wake up earlier before school started. There are never enough hours in the day, but the best way to create time for yourself is to establish those healthy routines that start the day on the right note.
What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
Marshall Leadership Fellow; Business of Entertainment Association AVP; Marshall Ambassadors
What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
I’ve really enjoyed competing in case competitions because it has given me not only the unique opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working on complex challenges, but also the chance to collaborate with more of my classmates than I typically work with.
What is your favorite USC Marshall core class?
“Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy” with Peer Fiss! I felt like it was a challenging but rewarding class that was a perfect introduction to case-based courses. Working with my core team on our group project - an analysis of Ben & Jerry’s’ competitive strategy - was hands down my favorite project I’ve worked on thus far at Marshall.
Which clubs are you involved in?
BEA, MDAC, MIGA, MCSC
Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because in every single conversation I had with current students, alumni, and ambassadors I could feel the passion they had for Marshall. I knew right away that I would be part of a special community of future leaders that would inspire me to achieve more. It was also important to me to find a program with a strong alumni network, and there is truly nothing like the strength of the Trojan Family.
