Austin Pollok is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Data Science and Operations at the USC Marshall School of Business, with a joint appointment in Finance and Business Economics.

Austin's research applies machine learning, AI, and statistics across financial markets, including volatility and options markets, corporate credit, portfolio construction and ETF design, and decentralized finance. Outside of USC, he has worked as a quantitative researcher at Capital Group and as a consultant to investment and trading firms.

He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in quantitative investing, deep learning, and AI, and has been recognized with USC Marshall's Teaching Excellence Award and the Golden Apple Award.
