What surprised you most about Marshall?
What surprised me the most about Marshall is how supportive and collaborative my peers are. Coming from such diverse backgrounds, professionally and culturally, I learned and gained so much perspective from my classmates. They definitely go out of their way to help in any way they can!

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I knew how to better balance and prioritize my time across studying, networking, and building relationships with my classmates. There are so many opportunities for involvement and your first instinct will be to jump at every opportunity, but I've definitely learned you can't do it all or on your own. Definitely lean on your support system to help you get through this process as it can get mentally challenging. You can get caught up being so busy that sometimes you need to take a step back to also enjoy the journey with family and friends time!

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
AVP of External Relations - Bay Area- High Tech Association, AVP of Events - Graduate Asian Business Society, Marshall MBA Ambassador

What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
Case competitions! It’s a great way to get to know your classmates, learn something new, and it’s fun!

What is your favorite USC Marshall core class?
Data Science for Business

Which clubs are you involved in?
High Tech Association, Marshall Consulting & Strategy Club, Marshall Data Analytics Club, Challenge 4 Charity, Graduate Asian Business Society, Graduate Women in Business

Core:
A

Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall based on three reasons. First, the Trojan network is truly one of a kind and I'm excited to be a part of it. Second, I have been living in Southern California my whole life and I wanted to continue expanding my network in Los Angeles. Lastly, the Marshall community was the perfect cultural fit. I enjoyed meeting students and saw their genuine willingness to help during the application process and now after joining the program.
