What surprised you most about Marshall?
It was definitely the strength of the Trojan network. Though I had already heard so much about it, I was still surprised by how real it was when I got to experience it firsthand. Every single student/alumni I have interacted with has shown such genuine care for my success and proactive willingness to help. It truly feels like you’re being adopted into a family.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I had known how early the recruiting process starts. Spoiler: It’s pretty much from the get-go (for consulting at least).

I would have to say my favorite experience has been working with my Core Team. I have really valued the opportunity to learn how to build and maintain high-performing teams while going through the core classes together. My team members are some of my closest friends at Marshall too! This dynamic has helped me manage stress in the first semester as we rely on each other not only to balance workload but also to be a source of emotional support.

Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall primarily due to the warm welcome I felt from the Trojan network. In the end, it really does come down to the “fit” and through my interactions with the people at Marshall, I knew it was where I could be my most authentic self and experience the most growth.
