What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
What spoke to me most about USC and Marshall when I was choosing schools was the international focus and network building, where the values of the Trojan Family and what it would mean for my college experience and career progression set this school apart from others.
Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
Something I wish I had known is that you can be whoever you want to be in college, where your involvement and time spent (outside of the classroom) is entirely dictated by me. I was in charge of what I wanted to dedicate my headspace and effort towards, so I wish I knew that whatever I would have set my mind to, even if it didn't seem like it would have high returns, that there was value in every opportunity, so long as I found intrinsic value in it.
USC activities/general hobbies:
Delta Sigma Pi, Camp Kesem at USC, LINC Tokyo, Global Brigades @ Marshall (Nicaragua), USC Global Fellow (Taipei, Taiwan)
Hiking/nature, podcasts, music and contemporary art, youth mentorship
Why do you love Los Angeles?
LA is a cultural melting pot of trendy lifestyles, up-and-coming businesses, lively music and art, nature, and foods of different cultures.
What global experiences have you had in college?
Freshman year I traveled to Tokyo, Japan with LINC, the summer after sophomore year I spent 3 months living and working abroad in Taipei, Taiwan with the USC Global Fellows Program, and junior year I traveled to the village community of El Sauce, Nicaragua to provide pro-bono consulting to small business owners.
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
USC Global Fellows Program, Big 4 SLP's, Financial Analyst at Walt Disney Studios, and Controller's Organization Intern at Salesforce
