What made you choose to attend USC Marshall?
I chose USC Marshall because I felt it provided the best overall experience. At the top of my priorities were finding a school that would stimulate and challenge me academically. But in addition, I also wanted a well-rounded school with a lively campus environment and a great balance of extracurricular and social activities. I strongly believe this balance has led to my strong professional and personal development. Also, Marshall’s emphasis on global education appealed to me, and I have certainly reaped the benefits. I spent the two incredible months interning in Israel through a Marshall organization last summer and will be studying in Barcelona this spring!

Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
Think about fit above everything; if you are able to, take some time to attend the schools you’re interested in, not on a campus tour. I often found that campus tours glorified the same aspects of schools, and the aesthetics of buildings and classrooms won’t translate to your happiness and success at the school. Consider how you might fit in at the school and, most importantly, if you see yourself being happy there.

USC activities/general hobbies:
TAMID Group, Brother of the Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, Watching USC Football, Basketball, Baseball and International Soccer.

Why do you love Los Angeles?
It truly feels like 7/8 cities combined into one. Within a twenty minute drive, you can go from lounging at the beach to hiking a challenging mountain. And, you truly will not ever feel bored in Los Angeles. From concerts and sporting events to different museums, you can fill your free time with activities that interest and excite you with your closest friends.

What global experiences have you had in college?
I spent two months as an intern in Tel Aviv, Israel this past summer, and I will be studying abroad in Barcelona in the spring!

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?
As a member of the Marshall club, TAMID Group, I had the privilege of interning at Deloitte Israel this past summer. TAMID provided an experience to intern abroad through a program with 200 other college students across the nation, and USC Marshall helped me find this opportunity and club!
