What surprised you most about Marshall?
I am constantly blown away by the quality of the students and professors that make up Marshall. Everyone has a unique story and is eager to work together in order to make Marshall a better place. I am proud to say that I am surrounded by people who challenge me to evolve on a daily basis.

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I knew that we were going to really hit the ground running in terms of the pace of the program. Our first term was only three weeks long, so there was a lot of learning how to manage my time most effectively for business school. Luckily within my study group we were really able to support each other and help everyone get on the same page for all of our classes. Since then, term two felt much more manageable even though there was more on my schedule since I was able to figure out how to balance my time in term one.

I chose Marshall because of their range of offerings, as well as the strength of their network. Coming in as a 'pivoter', Marshall provided me the opportunity to explore all industries and functions. Beyond that, the Marshall network gave me the confidence that I would find mentors who would help properly guide me throughout my journey.
