Taylor Wiesen is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Accounting at the University of Southern California. His teaching experience is primarily in financial accounting - including introductory accounting, intermediate accounting, and financial statement analysis and valuation. He has also taught financial analysis and valuation in the executive development program. Prof. Wiesen’s research agenda focuses on the relation between accounting and disclosure information and the political, legal, and regulatory environment in which firms operate. He has also undertaken research tackling issues of importance in accounting and business education. He has publications in Advances in Accounting and Issues in Accounting Education. Taylor earned his undergraduate and PhD degrees from the University of Miami. Prior to a career in academia, he worked in financial reporting for the parks and resorts segment at The Walt Disney Company.
