Why did you choose Marshall?
I learned about Marshall's MBA program through my mentors at work. My mentors raved about their experiences at USC and especially the "Trojan family." When I visited campus for Admitted Students Day, I finally understood what they meant by the Trojan family. I was warmly welcomed by everyone I met and immediately felt supported. Every current student I talked to was excited to speak with me and give me advice. After leaving Admitted Students Day, I felt like I was already a part of the Trojan family.
What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
My favorite part about my USC experience has been the people, especially the individuals in my core team. When you enter USC Marshall's MBA program, you are assigned to a group of six people. In the first year, these individuals are your team for group assignments. I love my core team. We all have very different backgrounds, and it has been a fantastic experience working and learning from them. Through this experience, my core group has built a strong friendship that I believe will last beyond our time at Marshall.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
It is okay not to know what industry you want to go into when you enter the MBA program. The Trojan family is there to help you explore different opportunities.
How is Marshall helping you accomplish your goals?
Marshall has helped me discover what I want to do after I graduate. Both alumni and current students have been quite supportive throughout the entire process. Everyone I have reached out to has been more than willing to speak with me and offer me their help in any way they can.
