What surprised you most about Marshall?
The truly vast and unique backgrounds of my classmates. When I say this, I mean it. Our cohort has students from across the world who have an impressive breadth of personal and professional experiences, and I am able to learn something new from them every day.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
Before attending business school, I wish I had a better idea of how to balance all of the different aspects of the MBA experience. I have learned that it is extremely important to stay on top of deadlines for classes and recruiting, but it is also important to take care of yourself and have fun - you are only here once!

What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
It has to be working on projects with my core team. Working in a core team is one of the key aspects of the first-year MBA experience, and through that process I have been able to learn a lot and make a great group of friends.
Also, the football games and tailgates. Amazing.

Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because I wanted a program that would support me making a significant career pivot and provide me with access to people who could help me in my pursuit of that goal. Also, who wouldn't want to be a part of the Trojan family?
