What surprised you most about Marshall?
Prior to starting at Marshall, I assumed its culture would be competitive; in reality, it’s been incredibly collaborative and I think that’s a testament to the supportive nature of both the program and its students. While we have our core study teams to lean on throughout our first year, meeting in the courtyard or hopping on a Zoom with classmates from other cores has also become a regular occurrence to review anything from a homework assignment to casing for recruitment.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
Business school is all about self-exploration. It’s okay to have unknowns and to take the necessary time to really understand what you want as you move forward. Keep an open mind and you might just discover something new about yourself that could change the course of your future.
