What surprised you most about Marshall?
Having gone to USC for undergrad as well I was expecting the experience to be very similar, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how the professors conduct classes differently. Rather than my undergrad classes which were a lot more lecture based, these classes actually feel more like discussions and because almost always someone in the class has relevant work experience, you hear a lot of different voices speaking during class and providing interesting insights. I have really enjoyed that aspect that is a stark contrast to my undergrad experience.

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
To be 100% honest, between investment banking recruiting and classes I didn't realize how busy I would be. I think that is just a matter of my recruiting situation which makes it uniquely busy, but I just wish I knew before so I could mentally prepare. It is not unreasonable or unmanageable, it just caught me by surprise.

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
MGSA Senator, AVP - Alumni Relations for the Marshall Finance Association, and Marshall Student Ambassador

What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
It is really hard for me to pick a favorite experience and as corny as this sounds, I think my favorite experience has been meeting the people. In a class of over 200 people I did not expect to know everyone, but the whole class has been so social and outgoing so I think my favorite experience so far has just been getting to meet and go out with my classmates.

What is your favorite USC Marshall core class?
Corporate Finance

Which clubs are you involved in?
Marshall Finance Association
Wine Club
Golf Club
Jewish Association of Marshall Students

Core:
B

Why did you choose Marshall?
As a USC undergrad, I already knew how real the Trojan Family was. A lot of places talk about their alumni network but after undergrad I was able to compare it to my friends at other schools and realized how real it was at USC compared to other places. Trojans help Trojans and I wanted to tap into that again as I look for opportunities after grad school.
