Received the Business Communication Impact Award from the ABC Conference (Association for Business Communication).

 

Data Sciences and Operations

Sangwook Lee
First-year statistics Ph.D. student has received a prestigious Korean government scholarship that will completely fund his studies for the first three years.

Matteo Sesia
"Conformal Histogram Regression" (with Y. Romano), has been accepted at NeurIPS 2021 and selected for spotlight presentation.

His paper “Searching for Consistent Associations with a Multi-Environment Knockoff Filter” (With S. Li, Y. Romano, E. Candes, and C. Sabatti), has been accepted for publication in Biometrika.


Tianshu Sun
“Displaying Things in Common to Encourage Friendship Formation: A Large Randomized Field Experiment,” (with Sean Taylor), has been accepted for publication in Quantitative Marketing and Economics.

This paper has also been chosen as the Winner of QME Wittink Prize (Best Published Paper in 2020).
