Vivek Sharma
Vivek Sharma teaches business innovation to graduate data science & MBA students at USC Marshall. He is the CEO & Co-Founder of InStride, a strategic enterprise education™ company, enabling leading employers to provide career-boosting online education to their employees, through leading academic partners. In 2020, InStride was recognized with Inc.’s Best in Business award and as one of Fortune’s Impact 20 companies globally.
Vivek co-founded InStride after five years at The Walt Disney Company, where he was the Senior Vice President, Digital Guest Experience & eCommerce, for theme parks, resorts, cruises, restaurants and retail businesses globally. Prior to Disney, he spent four years with Yahoo as General Manager for Yahoo Mail & Messenger, and Vice President of Yahoo Search products. Earlier in his career, Vivek was an Associate Partner with the technology practice of McKinsey & Company.
As an Independent Board Director for JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU), Vivek serves as chairman of the Technology committee and member of the Audit committee. Vivek is the author of two books, "C-SPARK: CEO-led Workforce Education for the AGE of AND" and "WIREFRAMED: Simplifying Digital Innovation for Business Leaders." He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and holds an MBA from INSEAD, France.
