USIF 2022 Managers
Krish Abrol is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration, with minors in Mathematical Finance and Computer Programming, at the USC Marshall School of Business. On-campus, Krish is involved with the Global Investment Society, USC’s largest buy-side focused student organization, where he has previously served as Vice President and Head of Investment Research. Beyond academics, Krish has interned in Venture Capital, Asset Management, and Private Equity at Ivycap Ventures, Franklin Templeton, and Arrowroot Capital, respectively. This coming summer, he will be interning at Oaktree Capital Management at its LA headquarters as an Investment Summer Analyst. Moreover, Krish has published academic papers in Macroeconomics and has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholar. Originally from New York and Mumbai, Krish’s hobbies include Football, Scuba Diving, Traveling, and Cooking.
Olga Archakov is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting. At USC Olga has served as the Chief Technology Officer of Trojan Investing Society and is also involved in the Value Investing Group. Her previous internship experiences include equity research as well as working as a market research summer analyst in Taipei, Taiwan. This coming summer she will be interning as an investment banking summer analyst at RBC’s San Francisco office in the technology group. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and keeping up to date with Chicago sports teams.
Kejun Chen is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business with a minor in Art History at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences. At USC, Kejun has been an active representative of Marshall Case Team and served as the Vice President of USC Chinese Students and Scholars Association. Kejun has previously worked abroad at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange as a risk control intern, Ping An Securities as an asset management intern, and Ping An Group as a strategy consultant intern. She will be joining MUFG Investment Banking - Project Finance Group in Los Angeles this June as a summer analyst. In her free time, she enjoys beach hiking, traveling, working out, and baking cookies.
Tiffany Chou is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting. At USC, Tiffany has served as the President of Beta Alpha Psi and the Chair of Professional Development of the Ascend USC Chapter. Her previous professional experiences include a rotational internship with KPMG and an audit internship with Crowe. This summer, Tiffany is looking forward to interning with KPMG in Los Angeles in their Deal Advisory practice, focusing on Financial Due Diligence and Accounting Advisory Services. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys exploring different restaurants, illustrating, lettering, and playing Nintendo games with her family and friends.
Ryan Cremer is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.S. in Accounting, and a Minor in Applied Analytics. At USC, he has served on the executive board of Trojan Investing Society for two years and is a mentor in the Mentorship program. He also competes for the USC Club Water Polo team and volunteers through the Joint Educational Project. Ryan has previously worked as an investment banking summer analyst for City Capital Advisors in Chicago. This summer, he will be interning for Lincoln International’s Consumer and Technology M&A groups in New York. Originally from Chicago, Ryan enjoys watching and playing all sports, running his shoe resale business, and traveling.
Sam Frazer is pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business with a Minor in Applied Analytics at the Viterbi School of Engineering. At USC, Sam serves as the President of Beta Sigma Investment Group, an investment fund with ~$200,000 AUM focused on maximizing returns to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Additionally, he skates on the Men’s Ice Hockey Team and volunteers his time through USC’s Joint Educational Project. Sam previously worked for Acer, Inc., an international hardware and electronics company, in their Taipei headquarters. This summer, he will be joining Evercore’s Oil & Gas M&A and Restructuring team in Houston. Originally from Chicago, Sam enjoys traveling with friends and family, golfing, listening to rock music, and cheering for the Trojans, Blackhawks, Bears, and Cubs.
Trishank Hansrajani from Mumbai, India is currently majoring in World Bachelors in Business, a triple-degree international business program at the University of Southern California, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and L'Università Bocconi. He has also gained admission into the progressive degree in M.S. in Finance at USC Marshall School of Business. Trishank is actively involved on each campus as a cricket player for the university team. His previous professional experiences include working at PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong as a Risk Assurance Intern and PricewaterhouseCoopers India as an Internal Audit intern. He is currently the founder and host @The Career Show podcast and aims to bridge the career knowledge gap. His platform has reached 600,000 people so far, and he looks forward to reaching 1 million people through the launch of The Career Show community this summer. In his free time, Trishank enjoys trying new cuisines and traveling. He has visited 15+ countries across 5 continents.
Jonathan Heist is currently pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Jonathan serves as a mentor for the USC Trojan Investing Society, helping rising juniors prepare for investment banking recruiting and a career in finance. This past summer he interned for CODE Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on media and technology. He has also previously worked for Accel Partners, a large venture capital firm based in Palo Alto. This upcoming summer, Jonathan is excited to join J.P. Morgan’s Technology Investment Banking group as an intern. Originally from the Bay Area, Jonathan enjoys playing pickup basketball, watching Yankees’ baseball, attending music festivals and spending time with family and friends.
Niven Jayanthi is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration in the Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Mathematics in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. He has previous experience working in real estate private credit at Colony Capital and will be interning at Lazard’s investment banking group in Los Angeles this upcoming summer. Beyond USIF, Niven is the General Manager of the USC Trojan Marching Band, President of the Student Symphony Orchestra, a mentor for the Trojan Investing Society, active representative in Marshall Case Team, and a Teaching Assistant for Professor Lloyd Levitin’s class on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. In his free time, Niven greatly enjoys spending time playing board games, learning card tricks, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
James Kaplan is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Behavioral Economics at the USC Marshall School of Business. Currently, James invests in early-stage technology startups with Rough Draft Ventures, a student-run venture fund backed by General Catalyst. He previously interned for Harbor Ridge Capital, a B2B software focused investment bank, and is excited to work this coming summer for Credit Suisse’s SF technology investment banking group. On campus, James is involved as a mentor in the Trojan Investing Society, as a football writer for the Daily Trojan, and with the Marshall Case Team. In his free time, James runs a mental health startup called the Trill Project and enjoys watching USC/NOLA Saints football and Lakers basketball, playing poker, and cooking.
Daniel Lai is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Economics at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences. While at USC, Daniel has been actively involved in Trojan Investing Society and research in the financial economics department. He is currently a teaching assistant for Professor Julia Plotts in her valuation classes. Previously, he interned at Montminy & Co. as an investment banking summer analyst and Romero Capital as an equity research intern. This summer, Daniel will be joining Stout Risius Ross’s New York office as a valuation advisory intern. Hailing from Taiwan, Daniel enjoys spending his time brewing coffee, playing basketball, and visiting Taiwanese night markets.
Justin Li is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting at the Leventhal School of Accounting. On campus, he serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Trojan Investing Society, USC’s premier finance organization, and the Director of External Relations at Los Angeles Community Impact, a social impact consulting organization. This past summer, he interned with Ares Management’s Los Angeles office. Prior to that, Justin spent his summer abroad in London, where he worked as a Finance Intern at Gaucho Restaurants, a British-Argentinian steakhouse chain. Originally from Menlo Park, California, Justin enjoys grilling steak, traveling, learning about WWII, and keeping up with USC Football.
Garret Nourse is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with minors in both Philosophy and Finance. This past summer, he worked at a fundamental long/short hedge fund called Almitas Capital. He spent the previous summer in the fixed income division at TCW, and before that interned in software engineering at Boeing. This summer, he will be working in investment banking at Credit Suisse within its financial sponsors and leveraged finance office in Los Angeles. At USC, he is also Treasurer of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Garret is a scratch golfer, and enjoys surfing, backcountry skiing, reading, and playing poker. Additionally, in his spare time he is building a machine learning algorithm that predicts outcomes of MLB games.
Connor Stec is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration in the Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Political Economy in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. On campus he serves as a writer for the USC Economics Review and mentors local high school seniors writing their college application essays through the Scholars Leading Scholars program. During his junior year, he interned for 52 Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on software companies. Prior to that, he worked as a business development intern for early-stage startups Carity and Train Up First. This summer, he will be a summer associate with Berkeley Research Group’s Turnaround and Restructuring practice in Los Angeles. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Connor likes lifting weights, watching football or hockey, reading, going to concerts and finding new recipes to try.
Stanley Wang is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Stanley has been actively involved in leading the long-short equity research team at Global Investment Society, USC’s largest buy-side focused student organization. He also served as a Microeconomics peer academic leader and captained the club squash team at USC. Stanley has previously worked in Value Partners Group, Optimas Capital as an equity research analyst, and China International Capital Corporation as a trading analyst. This summer, he will be working at Point72’s Asia equity trading desk as a trading intern. Growing up in Hong Kong, Stanley’s hobbies include squash, tennis, skiing, and traveling internationally.
Mignon Xu is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business and a minor in Art History at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. Mignon has been actively involved in Phi: Trojan Business Society and Fashion Industry Association on campus. Last summer, Mignon interned at BOLD Capital Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in exponential technologies. Beyond academics, she was the national champion of Latin Dancing and was the first to represent China in international tournaments for her age group. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Shanghai, Mignon’s hobbies include golfing, going to art exhibitions, studying fashion, reading, and traveling internationally.
David Yan is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business and a minor in Applied Analytics at the Viterbi School of Engineering. On campus, David is involved with Trojan Investing Society, where he served on the executive board for two years and currently serves as a mentor. He is also involved in Sigma Nu fraternity. David previously worked as an investment banking summer analyst at Takenaka Partners and JMP Securities and is looking forward to spending his summer at the JP Morgan San Francisco Healthcare investment banking team. In his free time, David enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and working out.
Shelley Zha is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the USC Marshall School of Business. While at USC, Shelley has served on the Executive Board of Trojan Investing Society and is now a mentor at TIS Mentorship Program. She has also served as a teaching assistant in the FBE apartment. Shelley has previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst Intern at Vista Point Advisors, a boutique investment bank in San Francisco, and a Growth Equity Intern at Arrowroot Capital Management, a software-focused growth equity firm in LA. This summer, she will be interning at J.P. Morgan Hong Kong as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Born and raised in Shenzhen, China, Shelley spends her spare time doing Yoga and Pilates, watching TV shows, and exploring different restaurants.
Chanson Zhao is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business and a minor in Mathematical Finance at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. At USC, Chanson has been actively involved in Phi: A Trojan Business Society, Trojan Investing Society, Business Technology Group, and the Association of Innovative Marketing Club. Previously, Chanson has worked as a Private Equity Intern at TELEO Capital, a middle market shop that specializes in corporate carveouts in the software and IT spaces. This summer, he will be interning at Barclays Capital in Menlo Park with the Technology team. Born and raised in Orange County, Chanson enjoys snowboarding, traveling to National Parks, music concerts, cliff jumping, and tasting new cuisines.
