USIF 2012 Managers
Sean Andrews is originally from Boston, Massachusetts where he attended The Governor’s Academy prior to enrolling in USC for college. His concentration at the Marshall School of Business is finance and business economics. Currently he is an intern with Nuveen Investments in Los Angeles. After graduation he hopes to begin a career in investment banking or investment management. At USC he is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, where he has held positions on Standards Board and in the Member Development Cabinet. He enjoys traveling, going to the gym, and exploring Los Angeles.
Peter Bartholomew is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at USC’s Marshall School of Business. He will be graduating in the class of 2012 with an emphasis in finance. Prior to USC, Peter served in the United States Marine Corps and for the past two semesters, he has interned at UBS Financial Services in Newport Beach. Upon graduation Peter plans on pursuing a career in portfolio management. He is a native of Southern California and his hobbies include; sailing, surfing, hiking, and snowboarding.
Meixi Chen is a student in the Marshall School of Business pursuing a joint degree of Business Administration and International Relations with a concentration on financial valuation and analysis. She is involved with the Trojan Investing Society where she currently serves as Co-president. Meixi also helped found the Marshall Finance Student Council. Her past internship experiences include wealth management and valuation. For summer 2011, she will be interning for Morgan Stanley in Menlo Park. Upon graduation, Meixi hopes to continue into a career in investment banking. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, watching movies, archery, and tennis.
Andrew Chia is currently a student at the Marshall School of Business in USC pursuing a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Communication Design and is expecting to graduate in the spring 2012. Prior to attending USC, he served 2 years in the Singapore Military as a Manpower Officer. He has also taken up numerous leadership and project management positions in on and off campus activities and in the summer of 2009, he interned at Pico Chicago as an Analysis intern. During his spare time, he enjoys traveling, skiing, diving, and photography. Upon graduation, Andrew hopes to work in the Finance industry.
Brian Esmond is currently a student in the Marshall School of Business at USC pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Corporate Finance. During his time at USC, he worked as a Private Wealth Management Intern at UBS Financial Services and as a Business Partnerships Intern at Warner Brothers Entertainment. He will be working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Citi during summer 2011, and plans to continue a career in Investment Banking upon graduation.
Watson Lau is currently a student in the Marshall School of Business at USC pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance. During his time at Marshall, he has participated in numerous competitions, projects and leadership activities. Previously, he interned in Alliance Insurance in Shanghai, China and will be working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at the China Construction Bank International during summer 2011. He plans to work in an investment bank upon graduation.
Charles Liao is currently a student in the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California pursuing a BS degree in Business Administration, Finance concentration. He will be graduating in the 2011-2012 academic year. In previous summers, he has held positions as an intern at China Mingsheng Bank, Private Banking division in Beijing, China as well as Fidelity Investments, in New York, New York. Currently, he is an intern at B. Riley & Co, an investment bank based in Century City and will continue to be with the firm for summer 2011. In his spare time, Charles enjoys snowboarding, Ultimate Frisbee, watching movies and working with technology. Upon graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in Investment Banking and eventually moving to the buy side.
Henry Lin is a junior at the University of Southern California majoring in accounting. Prior to enrolling in USC, Henry lived in China and Singapore. He previously participated in the Marshall Global Leadership Program which offered him an opportunity to intern at identical Brand Consulting as a client servicing coordinator the past summer. Currently he is working as an intern analyst at Focal Point Partners LLC, a middle market investment bank here in Los Angeles and will be joining Barclays Capital and taking up the intern analyst position for the summer. In his spare time, Henry enjoys travelling, stand-up comedy, playing and watching basketball. He hopes to start his career in investment banking upon graduation.
Catherine Quinn is currently a student in the Marshall School of Business at USC pursuing a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She is also pursuing a minor in Psychology and Law, and will be graduating in the Spring of 2012. During her time at USC, Catherine has had two wealth management internships including RBC Capital Markets and Merrill Lynch in Santa Monica. She will be joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch for the summer of 2011 for an investment banking internship in New York City. She is from Colorado and enjoys skiing, sailing and traveling in her free time. Upon graduation, Catherine hopes to continue to pursue an investment banking career.Neil Schreiber is currently a student in the Marshall School of Business with an emphasis in corporate finance. He is also pursuing a minor in Engineering Management and is slated to graduate in the Spring of 2012. During his college career, Neil has held an internship at AEG’s LA Live in the marketing department, has been involved with Marshall Case Team, and is the Philanthropy Chair of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He will be spending his summer in San Francisco interning for Stifel Nicolaus Weisel as an investment banking analyst. Neil has been employed as a canoe trip leader and enjoys hiking, canoeing rapids, athletics, and travelling. Upon graduation, Neil hopes to continue his pursuit of becoming an investment banking analyst.
Bonnie Wu is pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at University of Southern California. She was the Finance and Asset Management intern at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. and Accounting intern at a consulting firm in Hong Kong. At USC, she is active within the Trojan Investing Society as well as the Asian American Business Association, where she serves as the Finance Director. Currently she is the Commercial Services intern at USC Credit Union and in her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, exploring new restaurants and traveling. Upon graduation, Bonnie will pursue a career in investment banking.
