Trojan Equity Fund (TEF) Portfolio Managers
Paolo Manaloto graduated from University of California Irvine in 2015 with a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he worked at Pathway Capital Management, a private market fund-solutions provider, where he performed investment due diligence, quantitative analysis, as well as client reporting and servicing for private equity, private credit, and infrastructure mandates. He first became interested in value investing after reading “The Essays of Warren Buffett” in high school. This summer he will be working for RBC Capital Markets as an investment banking associate in the Technology coverage group. In his spare time, Paolo enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts.
Conor Meehan graduated from Amherst College in 2011 with a B.A. in English. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he worked for six years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Los Angeles. His favorite investor is Howard Marks, and he enjoys closely following the markets. This summer he will be working at Credit Suisse as a Summer Associate in their investment banking group. Conor is a CFA charterholder and a member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys playing rec league basketball, cooking, and reading.
Will Quarles graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 2010 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending USC Marshall, he worked in strategy and finance at Deloitte Consulting. His favorite investor is Warren Buffett and he enjoys the podcast, “Industry Focus” by The Motley Fool. This summer he will be working for Piper Jaffray as an investment banker in the Consumer coverage group. In his spare time, Will enjoys golfing, hiking and surfing.
