Trojan Equity Fund (TEF) Portfolio Managers
Taylor Brownstein grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Elon University in North Carolina where he majored in finance and enrolled in Army ROTC. Following graduation, Taylor commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry. He attended and graduated from Infantry School, Ranger School, and the Infantry Mortar Leader Course. Taylor spent three years stationed at Ft. Hood, TX where he served as a Platoon leader. After almost four years in the Military, he applied and was accepted to USC’s Marshall School of Business. At USC Marshall, Taylor is active in the AFA, the Challenge for Charity, and the Marshall Military Veterans Association. He is incredibly excited and humbled to be a part of the SIF community. This summer, Taylor will be interning in investment banking at Citi in the Power and Utility Coverage group.
Bruno Guedes was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. He also holds a Graduate Certificate degree in Investment Management from PUC-Rio, and a Certificate degree in Corporate Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to attending USC Marshall, Bruno worked as a fixed-income and FX trader at Gavea Investimentos in Rio de Janeiro. While at Gavea, he was responsible for managing the hedge fund's foreign exchange exposure (US$580M), and for assisting senior portfolio managers in the execution of bonds, swaps, futures, and options. In his spare time, Bruno enjoys surfing, playing soccer, traveling, and reading. This summer, Bruno will be an investment banking summer associate at Riverbrook Capital.
Tanadcha (Ben) Therdwikrant
Tanadcha (Ben) Therdwikrant received her B.Eng. in electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Prior to attending USC Marshall, she worked as an engineer in PTTEP, the national oil and Gas Company in Thailand. During her time in PTTEP, she worked in many mega projects including the $800M construction project and the new innovation platform design which received the winner prize from the society of petroleum engineers in 2014. After four years, she then transitioned to a business analyst role in a small private company where she was responsible for the IPO process. This summer, Ben will be an MBA intern in finance and accounting at Adams Rite Aerospace. In her spare time, Ben enjoyed exploring the new places, trying new activities (skiing & surfing), and watching cooking shows.
