Ethan DeSisto graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. in Finance. Prior to attending USC Marshall, Ethan spent five years at Canaccord Genuity Inc., where he served as an investment banking associate for its healthcare group. While at Canaccord, Ethan managed a team of analysts on an average of ten active engagements to ensure successful execution of over 110 transactions. He worked directly with clients to effectively position their business to investors, leading to the completion of 25 IPO transactions and follow-on offerings. This summer, Ethan will be interning at Amgen in the Finance & Strategy Leadership Development Program. In his free time, Ethan enjoys golfing, skiing, spearfishing, and surfing.
Brett MacMinn graduated from James Madison University with B.B.A. degrees in Finance and Marketing. He began his career in portfolio management before eventually transitioning to a fixed income trading desk where he led a team that doubled the size of the business in two years. Prior to attending USC Marshall, Brett started an independent consulting practice where he helped companies strategically execute on their most pressing business challenges. This summer he will continue that passion as a management consultant at EY focusing on mergers and acquisitions. In his free time, Brett enjoys beach volleyball, baseball, surfing, and the theater.
John MaGee began his career in finance at a major Canadian technology firm operating across Treasury, Accounting, and FP&A functions. Desiring to build his skillset in valuation and analysis, John assumed an equity research role at a major Canadian sell-side investment bank covering the North American technology hardware sector. By participating in SIF, John is looking to develop his portfolio management, valuation, and trading capabilities. When not attached to the Bloomberg terminal, John can be found reading the latest economist, hiking the hills of Los Angeles, or playing volleyball in Santa Monica. Over the summer, John will be interning with TCW in the equity research department. John is a CFA Charterholder.
Blair Tudas graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Finance. He has professional experience in wealth management and construction & real estate development with Equinox Fitness and USC. While working for Equinox Fitness he was exposed to three of the company’s recent transactions, which sparked his interest in Investment Banking. Blair will spend the summer of 2017 as an investment banking summer associate at Jefferies LLC in New York City. He spends his spare time at the gym, playing golf, following the markets and working on his car.
