Networking & Informational Interviews
Monday, September 17
6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
The majority of internships and jobs are never posted. The best way to tap into this “hidden job market” is through networking. Attend this workshop and learn about the what, when, where and how of networking and learn how to craft your elevator pitch and present your best self.
You will also learn how to effectively conduct an informational interview with alumni and your network of contacts to gather information and insights on professions, industries, and companies. Informational interviewing is a proven way to get information to help explore different career paths, prepare for an interview, and even get referred to an employer.
This is a recurring workshop that will also be held at the following dates, times and locations:
|Thursday, August 30||5:30 PM - 6:45 PM||JFF 233|
|Monday, September 17||6:00 PM - 7:15 PM||JFF 239|
RSVP for each workshop will be available starting 2 weeks prior to the event date in Marshall Career Source. Click here to log in to Marshall Career Source.
USC Marshall Undergraduate Career Services workshops are open to all current undergraduate Marshall students. RSVP and check-in with a USC Student ID is required.
