Some of you reading this post may be in the exact same situation I was in a year ago: wondering what on earth is the World Bachelor in Business.
The truth is I found out about WBB on accident. Here I was, scrolling through the USC application to see what I had to do, when I noticed that there was an additional section for something called the World Bachelor in Business. After scouring the Internet for information, I finally had my answer: it was the perfect program for me!
The World Bachelor in Business is a new and innovating partnership between three universities: the University of Southern California, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Bocconi University. A cohort of 45 students from around the world travels together to each of the universities before ultimately choosing the location for his/her fourth and final year. The end product is a unique experience and a degree from each of the partner universities.
Through WBB, you will have the opportunity to learn about business in a global environment, while immersing yourself into three very distinct cultures and really experiencing what it is like to live in a different country. This is no study abroad program; this is a whole different ball park. This is the chance of a lifetime to explore the world with nothing to occupy your mind other than a desire to learn—to learn about business, to learn about people, to learn about their cultures, and, most importantly, to learn about yourself.
Everyone says that college is the time to discover yourself, so why not explore the world while you’re at it?
So, if you can see yourself cheering on the USC Trojans, wandering the busy streets of Hong Kong, or exploring the history of Milan, the World Bachelor in Business program is here, and it is waiting for you.
