Paromita finished her PhD in June 2019. Before that she obtained a B.Stat. in 2012 and an M.Stat. in 2014 from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

Paromita Dubey is an assistant professor in the DSO department at the USC Marshall School of Business. Her research broadly centers around developing novel statistical methods for nonEuclidean data, examples being distribution and network valued data. She is also working on addressing challenges in the analysis of dynamic time-evolving data, particularly in nonEuclidean and high dimensional settings. Aside from theoretical challenges, she enjoys collaborations involving applications in neuroscience and population genetics.
