I am an Accounting PhD Candidate at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. My research interests include information dynamics; governance, monitoring, and oversight mechanisms; regulation; alternative data; information intermediaries; contracting dynamics; and fraud and financial misconduct.
Prior to pursuing a career in research, I worked as a Forensic Data Analytics consultant in Toronto, where I received my CPA, CA designation. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees from McGill University and Queen's University respectively.
I hope to one day pursue a career as a research-active professor at a leading academic institution, and anticipate being on the job market in 2024-25.
Outside of accounting and academia, my interests include cooking, running, ice hockey, collecting and listening to vinyl records, and deficiently playing a variety of instruments.
