David Jacobs is a teacher, scholar, and organizational consultant. He has taught Business Ethics, Public Policy, and Philosophy at American University, Morgan State University, George Washington, Kansas State, and other schools.
David has written or co-edited five books including Business Lobbies and the Power Structureand The Internet, Organizational Change, and Laborwith Joel Yudken. He has served on several editorial boards including Academic of Management Learning and Education, the Sage International Encyclopedia of Case Study Research, Perspectives on Work, and Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management.He has published articles in numerous academic and popular journals. His creative contributions to curriculum and program development in the business and society field were recognized in his selection as a Faculty Pioneer Finalist by the Aspen Institute Business and Society Program in 2007. He has also researched human rights and employment issues for Americans for Democratic Action and other organizations.
