David Belasco is an accomplished educator, entrepreneur, and attorney. At USC, he teaches “Taking the Leap – Entrepreneurial Mindset,” "Power, Players & Platforms in Global Sports," and “The Game is Life” with Pete Carroll and Dean Varun Soni. Professor Belasco has received four Golden Apple Teaching Awards, the Peer Achievement Award, and the USC Mentoring Award. He is active in USC Athletics through recruiting, mentoring, and supporting coaches.
Professor Belasco began his career as a lawyer at Latham & Watkins, then founded and sold companies in environmental services and manufacturing. Dave is a graduate of USC and earned his juris doctorate from the University of of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an editor of The Law Review.
