Liz Hood is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Business of Energy Transition Initiative. She holds a Ph.D. in Organization Studies from Boston College, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Marketing Analytics from Bentley University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brandeis University.

As an ethnographer and field researcher, she uses qualitative data (archival documents, interviews, participant-observation) to investigate an array of technologies including marine energy devices, snow guns for snowmaking at ski areas, funeral innovations, e-cigarettes, and police body cameras.
