What surprised you most about Marshall?
How easy and quick it was to get involved with the Marshall community and to feel the support of the Trojan Network. From day one all the clubs and organizations have been accessible and invested in the success of the students. Offering multiple mentorship opportunities and tons of academic and professional support. Even the alumni and faculty have already been working with the first year students to set them up for long term success.

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
That it's never too early to start reaching out to students and alumni. It wasn't until later in my MBA application journey that I went beyond the info sessions and started setting up meetings with current students and Alumni. The decision for which school you go to for your MBA goes both ways, and these could be your peers for life, so getting to know them early can help give the confidence you need to make your decision.

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
MGSA AVP of Community
HLA AVP of Events
EVMA AVP of External Relations

What has been your favorite USC Marshall experience?
My favorite Marshall experience thus far has been TAM day. Competing amongst the cores out in the quad was such a fun way to meet my classmates and really get to start building those relationships.

What is your favorite USC Marshall core class?
Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy

Which clubs are you involved in?
Healthcare Leadership Association
High Tech Association

Why did you choose Marshall?
My initial interest in Marshall came from the professional network of USC while being in an ideal geographic location. Outside of the fantastic weather, getting my MBA in LA gives me amazing exposure to startups and established groups that are leading the way in the intersection of healthcare and technology.
However, I choose Marshall because of the people. The conversations I had with alumni and former ambassadors really showed me that Marshall is invested in the success of its students, even before I was admitted I got a sense of the Trojan family and I knew that it was the right fit for me!
