Marshall First-Year Experience

The Marshall First-Year Experience (FYE) equips new students with the tools necessary for a successful transition to USC Marshall.

Mission: The Marshall First-Year Experience* (Marshall FYE) includes a wide variety of programs to support and engage new freshman and transfer students in their first year at USC. Marshall FYE is designed to help students navigate academic and career resources, become involved in student life, and foster a sense of belonging within the Marshall community.
*Formerly known as the Marshall Connections Program

Marshall FYE 2017-2018 Programming:

Meals with Faculty Mentors

First-year freshman and transfer students have the opportunity to engage with faculty mentors from a variety of Marshall Departments in a professional setting outside of the classroom. Participants are expected to come prepared to the meal with questions and dressed in business casual attire. Meals run for a duration of 90 minutes during which conversations range from academic to career goals and advice.
To sign up for a meal, please check your USC email at the beginning of the fall/spring semesters.
