PRIME

GSBA 580 – The Global Context of Business

The PRIME course focuses on the applications of frameworks for international business to a specific country. The 10-day experiential learning trip enables students to visit companies, meet executives, experience first-hand how business is conducted in that country on the ground and present their analysis project directly to the company.

The course anchors around these three major components students will experience in the PRIME program:

Students will attend pre-trip class sessions to understand the dynamics of emerging business models and technologies while analyzing the business environment of the country/countries they will visit.

Students will work on a group project to research and analyze the real-world business challenges the emerging business models and technologies presents in the assigned PRIME country.

Students will embark on an international field study trip to deepen their learning about the business environment of a country with an emphasis on emerging business models and technologies.
