Marshall Career Source

Marshall Career Source is the online job and internship posting site exclusively for Marshall’s approximately 5,000 undergraduate business and accounting students at USC. To create an account, click here. Once logged-in click on the “Jobs and Internships." From there, select “Post a Job” to enter a new posting.  Employers can login anytime to modify or track their postings at any time. Click here for a detailed user guide for employers wishing to promote their job opportunities through Marshall Undergraduate Career Services.

The Marshall Undergraduate Career Services Office works exclusively with current business and accounting undergraduates and alumni up to one year out. If you are interested in recruiting other Marshall students including Marshall MBA, Specialized Marshall Masters Programs or alumni post-one year out, click here for additional contact information. If employers would like to engage in on-campus recruiting and interviewing, or post a job for the broader USC community, contact USC Career Center and its connectSC portal to discuss posting the opportunity and scheduling recruiting.

 

Communication Channels to Promote Your Job Posting

Weekly Newsletter

The Marshall Career Source Weekly Newsletter is a great way to advertise upcoming events, job and internship opportunities, and announcements to all Marshall undergraduate students. The Newsletter is distributed weekly on Thursday mornings. Companies may advertise in the weekly newsletter by sending a short blurb to our office at ugcareers@marshall.usc.edu with the subject line “Marshall Career Source Weekly Newsletter_Employer Name.” All information must be received by Tuesday at 5:00pm in order to be included in Thursday’s newsletter. Informational blurbs must be a maximum of 100 words and, if applicable, include all information regarding the event details (time, date, location, and MCS job posting number) or how to RSVP if it is an event. Marshall Undergraduate Career Services reserves the right to refuse posting of information at any time in the newsletter.

Targetted Industry Email Lists

Reach targeted groups of students and get the word out about upcoming events and positions. Students can select to receive updates through any number of our opt in email lists below to receive targeted information about opportunities in their industries of choice.

Social Media Engagement / Shares

Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with recent news from Marshall Undergraduate Career Services! Companies may advertise positions on Facebook and Twitter by sending a short blurb to our office at ugcareers@marshall.usc.edu with the subject line “Social Media Posting_Employer Name.” To post on Twitter, informational blurbs must be a maximum of 140 characters. To post on Facebook, blurbs must be a maximum of 300 characters. Please allow one business day from receipt of your email for posting to Facebook and Twitter. Marshall Undergraduate Career Services reserves the right to refuse posting of information to social media at any time.

Resume Books

The Marshall Resume Book accepts applications from students twice a year and is available near the beginning of the semester. This book represents select Marshall students and is searchable by many fields including student interest areas (see list below) – so you can proactively target specific candidates for your unique opportunities.
