Greetings from the Antai College of Economics & Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University –

The Antai College is one of the leading business schools in China. Located in the most metropolitan city of the most dynamic economy in the world, we have witnessed and benefitted from the dramatic ascent of China in today’s global economy. Key to China’s success is the globalization process that has taken place in the last two decades since the Cold War ended, and key to Antai’s success is the internationalization process we have committed to since business education was restored at SJTU about thirty years ago.

The Global Executive MBA in Shanghai (GEMBA) program illustrates our commitment to internationalization. Our partnership with the Marshall School brings together two top academic institutions, one in China and one in the United States, to promote excellence in business education. While the US remains the world’s biggest economic player, China is the world’s fastest growing player. In the GEMBA program, one can study the best business practices in the integrated global economy with the US, China and their intertwined relationship as the perfect background.

I returned from the U.S. to take the helm of Antai in 2010. As I spend more time on the job, I become increasingly excited about the future of the institution and the various programs we offer. I join my colleague and partner, Dean Jim Ellis of the Marshall School of Business, in welcoming you to explore more about GEMBA, and to choose GEMBA to further enhance your business knowledge and skills and prepare yourself to meet the challenges we will face together.
