Hao Zhang's research interests include mechanism design theory and applications, supply chain management, and partially observable Markov decision processes. Selected publications include "A Dynamic Principal-Agent Model with Hidden Information: Sequential Optimality through Truthful State Revelation", in Operations Research, and "Optimal Dynamic Supplier Contracts under Asymmetric Inventory Information" and "Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes: Geometric Techniques and Analysis." He teaches spreadsheet-based business modeling for both MBA and undergraduate students and operations management for Ph.D. students.
