Peter Monge studies communication and knowledge networks, ecological theories, and organizational change processes. He is the author or coauthor of Reasoning with Statistics (2001) and Theories of Communication Networks (2003), and has published more than 50 articles in top journals including Organization Science, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Communication, and Communication Research. He served as editor ofCommunication Research from 1986 to 1993. Professor Monge was president and is an elected fellow of the International Communication Association. In 1998, he received the Presidential Citation Award from the National Communication Association. Professor Monge teaches in the Annenberg School for Communication.
