Elias Albagli is a macroeconomist who studies the transmission of information across financial markets. His dissertation, "Information Aggregation in Financial Markets," investigates a central issue in financial markets: to what extent prices incorporate dispersed information and help channel capital to the investments with the highest return. His analysis identifies conditions under which public provision of liquidity to markets can and cannot help stabilize financial markets.
