Program

The Strategic Marketing online program will show you how to analyze market opportunities and effectively position your new and/or existing concepts, services, and products in viable markets. This program will help the participant understand the essential areas of marketing management and how they can be applied in the ever changing economic sectors. Participants will walk away with a firm understanding of marketing concepts and an integrated strategic marketing plan. The program is designed for participants to apply the ideas and tools learned in the online sessions in their own business ventures.

Objectives

  • Gain an understanding of the language and theories and concepts of marketing
  • Evaluate market dynamics in a variety of business settings and their respective value chains to identify marketing opportunities
  • Analyze customers and prospects to identify their needs and identify the most profitable target markets when marketing any given product or service
  • Acquire the skills to strategically utilize marketing principles in any business setting
  • Be able to identify market opportunities to maximize customer and company value among a variety of industries, types of customers and geographic settings
  • Acquire the skills required to develop an effective Integrated Strategic Marketing Plan

Fee

$975 per person includes tuition and course materials. There is a 10% discount for three or more registrants from the same company.

Online Teaching Method & Experience

Designed to fit your busy schedule, this approximately 12 to 18-hour “on demand” online course can be taken at your own pace over a three-week period. Faculty

Diane M. Badame has served as Associate Dean of the Executive MBA and MBA for Professionals and Managers Programs at the University of Southern California. Dr. Badame has also served on the MBA Roundtable Board of Directors and Executive MBA Council Board of Trustees as Vice Chairman of the Board and Co-Chair of the Center for Research. She has served as a member of the Board of Examiners of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award while employed as Director of Corporate Quality by US Leasing and was a recipient of Weyerhaeuser Company President's Award for Outstanding Performance in her position as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Consumer Division of Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company.


Dr. Badame received her PhD in Physical Education in 1976 from the University of Wisconsin with a minor in Educational Psychology Statistics. She later received her MBA from the University of Minnesota in Finance.
