A beginner’s certification course, Yellow Belt focuses on principles of Lean Six Sigma. Learn the tools and techniques used in the Lean Six Sigma journey to understand the critical success factors for implementing Lean Six Sigma within an organization. Participants will focus on several real issues from their own organization in an intimate group setting, and will leave with an understanding of how to effectively assess their organizational culture to assist in planning for meaningful change.

Nick Vyas is a professor at the Marshall School of Business at USC with a M.B.A. in Finance, Operations Management and a B.S. in Industrial and System Engineering from the California Poly Technic Institute. He is a nationally recognized expert in Lean Six Sigma application with practical and academic knowledge. His experience spans to working with numerous projects over many industries such as Retail, Health Care, Government Service, Manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Vyas, a visionary leader and senior business executive provides in-depth knowledge and a roadmap on how to penetrate and succeed in competitive global markets.Teaching Method Using case studies, current business articles, interactions and a team project, the faculty will lead you to focus on the key knowledge and skills you need to understand business from an overall perspective. In-class and team projects will provide the opportunity for participants to apply new models to their own business units or organizations.
