University of Southern California

The Trojan Network

Our alumni truly give of themselves. You will find that USC Marshall Alumni come from all walks of life, in businesses foreign and domestic, and hold positions such as President, CEO, CFO, COO, Vice President and Director in businesses ranging from the Fortune 100 to entrepreneurial ventures, providing you access to a wealth of knowledge and support.

USC boasts more than 233,000 living alumni around the world in over 90 different countries, with more than 70,000 from USC Marshall.

We could certainly tell you much more about our wonderful alumni who make up the Trojan Family, but instead we would like to share with you a quote on networks from Dig Your Well Before You’re Thirsty by best-selling author Harvey Mackay. In the chapter, “The Four Best Places to Go Prospecting,” he states:

“…but the University of Southern California tops my list. There’s the football thing, of course, à la Notre Dame, but there is also the well-worn description of the alumni network that fits it perfectly: the Southern Cal Mafia.”

“I don’t know if they take a blood oath to help, hire, mentor, and generally take care of each other, but they act as if they did. From the day you graduate, the USC network is there for you. And, in turn, you, as a graduate, are expected to be there for other USC alumni.”

“In my opinion, the USC alumni network is the tightest, most effective, and most closed to non-initiates of any alumni network in the country….”

Interestingly, Mr. Mackay is NOT a USC alumnus!
