Julia Plotts specializes in financial analysis and valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. She is the author of several valuation case studies and contributed to Valuation: The Art and Science of Corporate Investment Decisions. Professor Plotts has received numerous awards, including the Evan C. Thompson Teaching & Learning Innovation Award (2011, 2012), USC Mellon Mentoring Award (2010), Dean's Award for Community (2010), USC Parents Association Teaching and Mentoring Award (2009), Golden Apple Award (2005, 2007, 2010, 2012), and USC Mortar Board Society (2009) . Before joining USC, she worked for Banc of America Securities LLC on equity and debt financing, valuation, and mergers and acquisitions.
