Testimonials

"I feel the BCA program has allowed me to experience the epitome of what it stands for, and I know that the opportunities are only just beginning. This year has provided me with an enriching experience both inside and outside the classroom. Whether it was gaining an esoteric insight into the realm of cinematic criticism through my cinema and television critical studies classes, or by applying that knowledge first hand to my internships with television companies, namely Direct TV with South By Southwest, and Six Avenue Productions with Crossing Over with John Edwards, I feel I have matured as a person and developed necessary skills and contacts to be used within the profession I hope to pursue. Being part of the BCA program has given me a home within the USC community, and has made me feel like I am part of the upper echelons of both Marshall and the School of Cinematic Arts." -- Jason Bhagrava, Freshman

"The BCA program here at USC is one of the best programs in the nation for people looking to work on the business side of the entertainment industry. By taking classes with both Business and Cinema students, I was able to learn from the best professors of both worlds, and apply that knowledge to use in "the biz". The faculty is top-notch and the staff is extremely helpful when it comes to looking for jobs or internships. The connections you make during your time here in the BCA program, whether it be your fellow cohort members, your professors, your advisors, or even the hopeful screenwriter sitting next to you in class, are absolutely invaluable to your future. As tumultuous as the industry can be at times, the BCA program has provided me with a steady foundation and powerful springboard from which to launch my career." -- Luke Wang, Senior; President, BCA Organization.
