Why did you choose Marshall?

I chose Marshall because of the people.  I had the opportunity to meet a number of members of the class of 2014 and I came away from the experience extremely impressed with them.  They were all very intelligent and seemed like people I could see myself hanging out with outside of an academic setting.  After that experience, I could tell that Marshall was a great fit for me.

What surprised you the most about Marshall?

I was surprised by how quickly the first term moves.  Everyone tells you that it moves fast, but there is nothing quite like experiencing Orientation and the first term for yourself.  It is busy and at times it can be stressful, but overall it is really fun.

Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:

Management Communication for Leaders

Favorite USC Marshall experience:

TAM (Teamwork at Marshall) Day is definitely my favorite experience so far.  It was the first real bonding experience for each core.  Everyone was extremely competitive and all three cores showed a lot of spirit right from the very start.  The events were challenging and entertaining.  The fact that my core won the day in a real nail-biter really seals it as my favorite experience so far.
