Why did you choose Marshall?
Because of the right class size - intimate yet diverse, the unbeatable Southern California weather, PRIME experience, Accelerated Core Curriculum and opportunities for inter-disciplinary coursework at othr USC schools.
What surprised you the most about Marshall?
The intellectual insights and passion that my classmates bring to every single class every single day. The sense of humor and 'fun at work' atmosphere across the administration, faculty, staff and students at Popovich! The sheer breadth of backgrounds that people come from - from actors to doctors, and veterans to scientists.
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy
Favorite USC Marshall experience:
TAM Day during Orientation, Tailgates and Football Games, USC Marching Band, C4C Country Club Party, Nestle and GE Case Competitions, Wednesday Mixers
What you wish you knew before attending business school?
How quickly things would start moving from Day 1 of Orientation! I would definitely suggest new students, especially International students, give themselves enough time to sort out their living situation (housing, transportation, laptops etc.) before Orientation starts. Because once International Orientation begins the pace just keeps getting faster and faster. Having sorted out all the logistical details beforehand would be hugely beneficial in helping students get the most out of all that Marshall has to offer.
